Mattie Dances at Night Life in Sarasota
Amazing night! What an awesome experience for Mattie...she was asked to perform with three other dancers at a Gospel performance at the Night Life in Sarasota. First, she nailed her solo. We then had exactly 64 counts to change her tutu as well as her entire hairstyle...whew! We did it, and she rocked the second dance as well! Great job, Mattie! (Thanks Jorq and Simone for keeping the boys...they had a blast!)

Laughed Out Loud!
The baby laughed for me...out loud, so very sweet! I was holding her at the dance studio, she was laying across my lap. I smiled and said something silly and she just chuckled. What a doll!!!

To Be or Not To Be...Suri Is the Question

My Little Ballerina Girl
I had the pleasure of watching Mattie during her ballet class the other night. I hadn't seen her dance since Suri was born...what a difference a couple months can make! Mattie, you are truly amazing! You give me chills...I can't believe the ballerina you have become. You are the picture of beauty and grace.
It's "Camden's Favorite Color" Day!
The leprechaun delivered once again! However, much to Mattie's disappointment, he didn't stick around. The kids had a great St. Patrick's Day...Cam even found gold in his classroom. Leprechauns snuck into Mrs. Kintz's kindergarten classroom and ransacked the place, even peed green in the toilet! What fun!
Happy Birthday to ME!
So it's a little late, but I wanted to document my 38th birthday. Troy treated me to a romantic Stonewood dinner. (Cam called a documented five times during our one-hour-and-fifteen-minute dinner to check on his mama.) I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Thanks for making my day so special, everyone!
3 Months and "Coo"ing
Suri turned three months old on the 14th...time sure flies! She is starting to coo, and the kids just think it's great. Suri is such a happy, contented baby. She smiles most of the time, even in her sleep. Her only hard part of the day is during the busy evening hours, when I'm trying to prepare food, help with homework and calm everyone down for bed. Can you blame her?

Better Late Than Never
I realized today that I should've started this blog about 12 years ago. I could have forever captured every detail of each of my four pregnancies as well as all of the joy and excitement that has come with each of our children. Well, as this blog post is entitled, better late than never. Here we go!
