The Unidentified Spotted Baby

"The baby" came down with a rash and a high fever...the fever was short-lived, but the rash lasted almost a week. She looked so funny!

Parade 2010

"I love a parade!" Our house is once again full of beads. Great parade...fun was had by all, as usual. Even the baby seemed to enjoy it.

Carter Wins 2nd Place!

We are so very proud of Carter! He placed 2nd in the Tropicana Speech Contest at Seabreeze with his winning speech, "Chocolate." He was fantastic this morning...calm, cool and collective. He came home with a silver medal around his neck. Way to go, Carter!

Look What I Can Do!

She may not have a name, but she is growing nonetheless. Three-and-a-half months old...the kids just love this new trick, lifting her head and looking around at her surroundings.

Strep and a Stiff Neck :(

Camden went to bed with fever, and woke with more fever. I made an appointment with Dr. Lopez at 10am...Carter was helping with the baby and suddenly dropped to his knees in pain, after turning wrong and pulling a muscle in his neck. So we all piled into the car, dropped Mattie off at school, and drove half an hour to see George, er Dr., Lopez.
Camden presented with a 104 degree temp, which the nurse promptly treated. The culprit? That pesty Strep germ once again. Dr. Lopez gave an Rx for antibiotics for Cam, an Rx for a muscle relaxant for Carter, and a good luck wish for me...

Easter Fun

We had a wonderful Easter weekend full of love, laughs and candy. We attended the annual Easter celebration at Faith Church on Saturday morning, with egg hunts for all ages. On Sunday we found baskets of Easter joy at our house, MiMi and Grandad's house, and Tracy's house! Lots of candy to enjoy!
